Scout Sunday

We have another great Sunday ahead as we welcome our Boy Scout Troop to join us in worship. This congregation has a long history of scouting and we look forward to welcoming them on Sunday morning. Be sure to keep your eyes open for new faces on Sunday mornings & be ready to welcome and help guide folks to important locations: the Hospitality Table, restrooms, nursery, and Sunday School Classes. Your gracious welcome to ALL makes a difference!

Just a reminder that there are two new Sunday School Classes beginning on Sunday, February 18th at 9am. One is a more permanent class led by Eric Nance Woehler, this will be a Bible Study & will meet in the Library (near the Church offices).  The other class is a 5 Sunday Class that I am leading through the Season of Lent on Spiritual Practices. This will meet in the Fellowship Hall.

Also, make plans now on Valentine’s Day to come to our Ash Wednesday Service at 5:30pm in the sanctuary. Ash Wednesday is a day that begins the Christian Season of Lent & at the heart of this worship service will be the “imposition of ashes.” I’ll talk more about what this Service is about soon, but we are working on a unique worship to help you begin this journey to Easter Sunday!

I look forward to seeing you all Sunday! Invite a friend to join you!

Peace, Kara
